History of UHCL Libraries

This page contains individual brief biographies for the past and present Executive Directors for the University of Houston-Clear Lake Libraries since 1974. UHCL Libraries was founded by W. Walter Wicker between 1973 and 1974. Over the years, the position has changed titles and responsibilities, from Director to an academic Dean to its present title of Executive Director.
