Authorizing with an Adobe ID

If you don’t have an Adobe ID

• Click the Create an Adobe ID link in ADE

OR

• Go to Adobe.com
• Click the SIGN IN link at top right
• Click Get an Adobe ID under the Sign In button

After creating the ID on the Adobe website, you can close that browser window, return to ADE, and enter the newly-created Adobe ID.

Deauthorize/Reauthorize ADE

If you get an error message about activation, follow these steps

Deauthorize

1. In ADE, either
   • Windows: Press Ctrl + Shift + D on the keyboard
   • Mac: Press Command + Shift + D on the keyboard
2. Make sure the correct AdobeID account is listed in the drop-down menu
3. Enter the password for that account
4. Click Continue
5. Click Erase Authorization
6. When the process is complete, click OK to return to ADE

Reauthorize

1. In ADE, click Help in the top navigation menu
2. Click Authorize Computer
3. Enter your Adobe ID and password
4. Click Authorize
