Librarians are available to:
- assist users with all types of information requests
- answer questions about the library's resources and how to use them
- provide support at every stage of the research process

Library Instruction Services for Faculty
Librarians can support faculty through classroom library instruction and the creation of online learning tools.
- Instructional Services Request FormUHCL faculty at Clear Lake or Pearland may request library instruction sessions that teach students about resources and research strategies for specific subjects, disciplines, or assignments.
- Embedded Librarian Request FormFaculty may request to have a librarian embedded directly inside their Canvas class to provide library assistance to their students.
- Library Course Guide (example)Librarians can create research guides for specific courses. Course guides are tailored to a course’s syllabus and assignments, and guide students in the use of relevant research resources. Course guides can be linked to from your Canvas course page. To request a course guide, contact your library liaison or email library@uhcl.edu.
