The UHCL Libraries membership in the Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC) allows UHCL faculty to have article processing charges waived or discounted when publishing in a number of prestigious journals.

Publishers such as: Association for Computing Machinery, ACS Publications, Cambridge University Press, Elsevier, IOP Publishing, Springer Nature, and Wiley, which cover a wide range of journals across various fields, are included in this agreement.
