Need Something from Another UH Library?
UHCL students, faculty, staff, and Affiliate Borrowers may request items from other libraries in the University of Houston system. Requested items will be transferred to your campus of choice via courier service.
UHCL students, faculty, and staff may also use their university ID cards to borrow directly from other libraries in the University of Houston system.
How to Request an Intercampus Loan to UHCL
- Find the item you want in OneSearch.
- Sign in
- Click the Request button.
- Select the library where you wish to pick up the item.
- Click Send Request.
You will be notified via email when the item has arrived at the selected campus.
Items not picked up within one week from date of arrival at the selected campus will be sent back to their home libraries.
Note: Intercampus loans are not available for TexShare borrowers or students in the Hawk Connection program.
Want to Directly Borrow Items from Another Library?
Current UHCL students, faculty, and staff are eligible to obtain a TexShare card at Neumann Library or the UHCL Pearland Library. A TexShare card gives you borrowing privileges with over 500 participating libraries in Texas. Search the Texshare Find a Library page to see if the library you wish to borrow from is in the program.
To obtain a TexShare card, you must have no current overdues or fines on your library account. TexShare cards are free.
