Library hours

Using Neumann Library

Guest users may access research databases only from the library's public workstations. Use the "Other User" log in and the following username and password:

Username: library\public
Password: L1bguest

The library provides free of charge:

Two KIC Scanners for saving to a USB flash drive or emailing
Both are located just inside the library entrance

Printing from a public workstation costs 10¢ per page and requires purchase of a copy card from the dispenser near the Research Consultation Desk.

Initial purchase of card is $1 with a preloaded value of 50¢
Value may be added in increments of $1, $5, or $10

To print a document, make sure the selected printer is "Printer." Once you've clicked Print:

A dialog box will open and ask you to name the job
Use any name you'll recognize
Go to a print release station (marked with a sign)
Insert your copy card into the card reader
Select your job from the list that appears on the monitor
Click "Print Document"
Retrieve your copy card

Photocopies cost:

15¢ per page if using cash (copiers take nickels, dimes, quarters, and $1 coins or bills)
10¢ per page if using a copy card

When you need a break:

Patio Cafe on first floor of Bayou Building
Lounge with vending machines: Room 1405 on first floor of Bayou Building
In the library: food is permitted in the Hawks' Overlook area on main floor; beverages must have secure lids

Visitor Lots

Visitor parking any day of the week includes Lot R and designated curbside spaces, all of which require the display of a temporary visitor's permit. Purchase permits with a debit or credit card at parking pay station/kiosks (2 hours = $2.50; 4 hours = $4.00; all day = $5.00).

Weekend Parking

From 12:00 noon on Friday through Sunday, when permit requirements are not enforced in student lots, visitors also may park at no charge in Lots D, G & J only.
