Study PAWS

PAWS - What is it?

Study PAWS logo

Join us for Neumann Library's Study PAWS Spring 2020 event!  Pet Away Worry and Stress during your studies for finals.  This program allows students to interact with registered therapy dogs as a means of reducing the stress and anxiety that finals can induce. Studies have shown that interacting with an unknown dog for just 5 minutes can reliably lower blood pressure and stress related hormones, slow down heart rate, release tension from muscles and regulate breathing.  Students, faculty, and staff who need a study/work break filled with unconditional love are encouraged to stop by the Neumann Library’s main floor on March 3rd.  The Library is proud to partner with Faithful Friends, a registered therapy dog volunteer group for this program.
