Study PAWS

Join us for Neumann Library's Study PAWS Fall 2025!

Pet Away Worry and Stress during your studies for midterms. This program allows students to interact with therapy dogs as a means of reducing the stress and anxiety that exams can induce. Studies have shown that interacting with an unknown dog for just 5 minutes can reliably lower blood pressure and stress related hormones, slow down heart rate, release tension from muscles and regulate breathing. Students, faculty, and staff who need a study/work break filled with unconditional love are encouraged to stop by the Hawk's Nest Neumann Library on September 24th 10:30-12pm & September 25th 1:30-2:30pm. The Library is proud to partner with Faithful Friends, a registered therapy dog volunteer group for this program.
