Join us for Neumann Library's Study PAWS Fall 2025!
Pet Away Worry and Stress during your studies for midterms. This program allows students to interact with therapy dogs as a means of reducing the stress and anxiety that exams can induce. Studies have shown that interacting with an unknown dog for just 5 minutes can reliably lower blood pressure and stress related hormones, slow down heart rate, release tension from muscles and regulate breathing. Students, faculty, and staff who need a study/work break filled with unconditional love are encouraged to stop by the Hawk's Nest @ Neumann Library on September 24th 10:30-12pm & September 25th 1:30-2:30pm. The Library is proud to partner with Faithful Friends, a registered therapy dog volunteer group for this program.
