Here we will try and answer some of the questions you may have as a student such as: what is an check? How do I find the routing and account number on an echeck? And how can I management my money? In this section, you will find documents to help you understand what budgeting is, how you can manage your money, and give you some resources to use in order to help you through this process.
These resources will give you a brief overview of what budgeting is, how you can do it, and why it's important. Many of these resources will be articles, or professional narrative columns giving financial advice.
The resources listed here may be accessible through the UHCL or UH systems using your student login, or are free to access on the internet. Many of these resources will be centered around financial aid for your education, how to apply for financial aid, use it, and what to expect.
The online resources can either be used online, or printed out and filled out by hand. These resources are designed to help you visual understand budgeting and all aspects of it that you may not take into account other wise such as costs for: bills, food, housing, transportation, clothing, etc.
This section expands on the previous, these resources will help you budget through your phone, tablet or other smart device. All applications can be used for android or apple devices, unless other wise stated. You may choose to use a budgeting phone application because it will help keep you on track with your finances through reminders and alerts.
